"Since I was little I always wanted to study engineering and a career in art." Javier started his academic path in engineering, but as he delved into the world of digital art, he discovered that what he liked most was "art, sculpting, video games and things like that."
His curiosity led him to want to understand the whole flow of creation: "I was always interested in knowing the whole process of creating a character, from the concept to what would be retopology, textures..."
Although he had tried to learn on his own, he felt he wasn't making clear progress. "I didn't know where to really guide me, so I decided to look for someone to teach me, who already had experience in the area and could guide me in the right direction."
After six months of training, the change is evident: "I look at my pieces, my characters and things like that and I really feel proud of what I've done. And it's something that honestly six months ago I never imagined myself doing."
A story of transition and growth, of how technique and passion can coexist to create something much greater.
